| Good to Outstanding
Much of the work of Sustained Success is, as our name suggests, concerned with helping nurseries, schools, colleges and universities to achieve long lasting and sustained success. As such, one of our most popular courses focuses on the difference between Good and Outstanding, in terms of England's Ofsted inspection regime.
We help schools to review the characteristics of effective learning and teaching, and to raise their performance from good to outstanding in all categories.
All of our training and support is tailor-made, but the most popular features of our Good to Outstanding training includes answering questions such as:
- What is outstanding education?
- What are the main differences between Good (Ofsted grading 2) and Outstanding (Ofsted grading 1)? - UK only
- What are the main characteristics of outstanding teaching and learning?
- Which strategies will move you from good to outstanding, or help you to maintain outstanding?
- What types of feedback, praise and focus will be needed to maintain outstanding practice?
- How can you ensure that Every Child Matters?
- How can observation and coaching be used effectively to support all of your colleagues?
"After our training with you, I was observed by an Ofsted inspector who said she had ever seen such an outstanding speaking and listening lesson and that she would award me a 1 (outstanding) for it." (Barbara Dixon-Dawson, Darlington, UK)
