Gordon Poad

Gordon Poad is director of Cap-a-Pie, an organisation focussed on the development of drama, learning and thinking. He is a highly experienced creative learning practitioner and consultant, innovating and directing creative programmes that bring about positive changes in learning practice. His belief is that theatre is far too important to be the exclusive preserve of actors working in theatres and so passionately explores the ways in which the best practices of the rehearsal room can influence classroom practice and vice versa. Since 2007, he has been working on an exciting project with James, bringing together drama and P4C into a new pedagogy entitled: Dramatic Enquiry. He would love to share this approach with you.
