In 2000, James Nottingham began a regeneration project to raise the aspirations of young people in Berwick upon Tweed (UK). Working with the 22 schools in the town, the project was so successful that James and his team were awarded £2million to disseminate the strategies across North East England. Much of this work was related to family learning and involving parents in their child’s learning.
James can offer you his experiences of this award-winning project, together with his understanding of family learning, to help you involve your community and school life
“I never thought a course could be so powerful! My daughter and I have literally changed our lives since starting the course. Thank you so much!” (Parent from Northumberland, UK)
