Renton, Senior Consultant
Martin has
developed his reputation as a consultant and trainer in primary
and secondary schools nationally and internationally, and in Further and
Higher Education institutions. An experienced practitioner,
Martin models pedagogical approaches to critical thinking and enquiry,
involving all members of the school community; including teachers,
teaching assistants, support staff and parents. He has also worked with BBC
Education, is a published author, a Visiting Fellow of Newcastle University

Helen Richards is the office

James since March 2003, having initially been Office Manager for the award
winning RAIS project which James co-founded. Helen started her career as a

Pippa is an inspirational

Louise is
currently a Deputy Head and reception teacher (4-5 year olds) in the UK.

learning, particularly of young children, and supports schools and nurseries

Steve is
an inspirational and experienced consultant. He has taught in
primary, middle and secondary schools, especially focusing on

Ragnhild
Isachsen, Leadership and Thinking Skills
Ragnhild is currently the Headteacher of Hogsnes oppvekstsenter in Tønsberg,
Norway. In 2003, she began a P4C and thinking skills project that had a
significant impact on the questions her children ask, how they work and
communicate together, and on their ability to think critically and
creatively. Her school was the first in Norway to join the CDE
network, with such impressive results that she now supports other schools across

Roger Sutcliffe is one of

Steve is a freelance teacher
and editor committed to helping children and young people to think for
themselves: to read critically, to think philosophically, to talk

co-director of p4c.com, and was one of the founders of SAPERE, theP4C charity in
the UK. His specialism's include P4C, thinking sills, writing for learning,
